Kerri Fleming has resided in Stephenville, Texas since 1999.   She makes a home with her husband, Gary, and sons, Ethan, Austin, and Samuel.   Kerri has been painting in the Stephenville area since 2002 and is known by her many murals, residential as well as commercial.  Her art mediums include acrylic, oil, charcoal, and her favorite, pastel.  
   Kerri was born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas.  As a child her favorite playtime was spent coloring or painting at the kitchen table.  Not much has changed.  The kitchen table has been replaced with an easel and card table for supplies.  Her tools of trade have been upgraded from crayons to pastel sticks.  Yet the feeling is the same.  To hold a stick of colorful pastel and apply it to paper in a quick scribbled fashion or by deliberate, detailed strokes, fills her with euphoria.  She is a child again, with no worries.  Her only goal is to get lost in the work she is creating.  
      Kerri's paintings are bold and colorful, yet simple in subject matter.  The message she hopes to send is to not overlook the joyful simplicities of life.  Pause for a moment and appreciate our everyday surroundings in this sometimes fast and furious world.
